Steve is an award wining editor of hundreds of commercials, promos, music videos, film trailers, fiction and non-fiction shorts, television shows and documentary feature films.

Steve has received awards from AICP, New York Festivals, the Beldings, Tellys, has been nominated for 3 AICE awards and shortlisted at the Cannes Ad Fest, and the films he has edited, both fiction and documentary, have played at film festivals around the globe.

After graduating from Iowa State University with his BA in communications, Steve went on to graduate school at Columbia College, Chicago to study documentary directing. Two years later, after directing several short films, including a documentary short which aired on Chicago Public Television, and an honored short fiction film, Steve moved to Los Angeles.

When Steve is not editing he is an avid world traveler which often involves some of his other interests, including snowboarding, mountain biking, scuba diving and creating and drinking cocktails.
